Q: I See You Offer Free Seminars in Some Cities, What's Covered At Them?
A: We typically hold several free seminars prior to each Startup Business Boot Camp to give people who have ideas for new products, services or businesses some helpful information and resources as well as a "sneak peak" into what we do at our Weekend workshops. These complimentary, no obligation seminars typically run from 1-2 hours. They are packed with great information and we often offer attendees extra incentives to register for the workshop. Check out our event schedule to see if any Free Seminars are being offered in your city (if so, you can register online or contact your instructor to register). Keep in mind that attending these seminars is not a requirement to attend the full workshop. Many people cut to the chase and simply register for the workshop while others want to learn more first.

Q: What Else Does The Startup Business
Boot Camp Cover?
A: In addition to the "mechanical" stuff you accomplish at the event,
we focus heavily on things 90% of entrepreneurs don't do that they really should
do. Such as a viability analysis of your idea(s), whether they are a good fit
for your goals and lifestyle, a business plan and financial projections so
you know what the realistic income potential is for your ideas.
We also work with you on how to expand your idea to make it generate more
money and have a wider, more far reaching appeal and a higher likelihood of
success than it otherwise would. We introduce you to over 40 different business models and revenue streams to apply to your idea. We give you innovative ways to break into the
market with little to no money. We really designed the program to help you
create a business for under a few hundred dollars and most people can get something
started for under $100. We know some who launched for as little as the cost
of 1 single domain name ($10!).

Q: I Have A Day Job But I'd Like To
Start a Business On The Side. Can You Help Me?
A: That's what we're all about. Helping most anyone who has an idea
for a business, product or service see if it makes sense and then help
launch it quickly and inexpensively. About 40% of our attendees are
employed full time and recognize that job security isn't what it used
to be, and they need to have a Plan B in place in case they need to
make it their Plan A. They also recognize the tax benefits of business
ownership, and of course welcome the additional income. Most people
know that having multiple streams of revenue is essential.
Back to Top Q: I Already Have A Business.
What Can The Startup Business Boot Camp Do For Me?
A: If you are like most business owners, you get new ideas all the
time. The Startup Business Boot Camp experience teaches a repeatable
process so that Boot Camp graduates have the knowledge, skills and
tools to rapidly test, prototype, launch and market most any business
idea for little or no money. It's a NEW way of doing things. If you
decided to start another business, it would likely take you many times
longer than if you launched it at our event. That's because we have
developed a process and templated system that's easy to follow and
makes pursuing new ideas fun, easy and potentially profitable! Over
20% of all our attendees are experienced entrepreneurs who actually own or have owned their own business for many years.

Q: Money is a Little Tight But I Want to Attend, How Can You Help
My Cash Flow?
A: We fully understand cash flow may be
an issue for some people, so upon your registration we only
charge $95 as a deposit on your seat. Then, about a week before
the event, the remainder of your registration is billed. This great
policy is one of many reasons why our events fill up in advance; along
with our no risk registration where if you can't make it you receive
a full refund or rain check credit depending on how much notice you
give us. Therefore, many people register 30-60 days prior so they don't
miss out on early registration pricing or lose their seat to someone
else. We also offer a payment plan option, where you can spread your registration out over 2-3 months. Contact the Instructor of the city you want to attend for more details on the payment plan option.

Q: Why Is The Startup Business
Boot Camp Different?
A: Well, first off, there's almost no other event where you actually
get your business off the ground before you leave. Sure, there's classes,
half-day seminars, 13 week night courses, etc. where they only tell
you what you SHOULD do and after you leave, guess what: you still have
to do it! You have not moved forward on your business even one single
inch!
Secondly, there's no "one-stop shop" where you get the information,
do the things you need to do to actually get up and running and be
able to interact face to face, one on one with key startup business
experts and do it all in one weekend. If you know of such a place,
we'd like to know!
So if you are even remotely interested in seeing if the ideas you
have in your head are worth pursuing and if so, how you can launch
any one of them into a business in just a weekend, and to be able to
use our system and process to do it over and over again, then the Startup
Business Boot Camp is THE place for you!

Q: Can I Sign Up With A Friend,
Spouse Or Business Partner?
A: Yes, at most events we see several partnerships in attendance.
You can both focus on the same venture or different ideas. We offer
multi-person discounts so contact your Boot Camp Instructor about how
many people are in your group.

Q: I Wanted To Register
But It Says The Event Is Full, Now What?
A: Sign up for our Wait List, there should be a link on the event
information display for the city you are interested in attending the
event in. You can also call your Boot Camp Instructor. Some venues
simply do not have any more space available, while others do. So each
situation is different but also, even at larger venues we limit attendance
so we can provide you with enough attention to accomplish your goals.
Remember that there is zero risk to registering early. You'll either
get a full refund or event credit so do not wait. Plus over 80% of
our events fill to capacity. Just "git-r-done". Taking action and being
decisive are keys to being a successful entrepreneur. Don't overthink
it, don't procrastinate, don't fall into the "perpetual preparation"
trap thinking you just need a little more information to get started.
That's what we are here for. To help you launch!

Q: How Can You Offer This Event So Inexpensively?
A: Efficiency, low overhead, and a sincere interest to help people
and rebuild the economy. We have had many people tell us that a 2.5
day intensive workshop like this should be offered for no less than
$1,995. And yes, we would likely see fewer people register at
that level of investment but we probably would make more money per event. But that
means fewer people would benefit. Fewer dreams would be pursued and
people who tried on their own without the Startup Business Boot Camp
would make many costly mistakes. So making the event a true no-brainer,
and frankly, an insane value is one of the many things we teach at
the Boot Camp for you to do. A large portion of our events are focused
on making you successful in your new endeavor, as well as getting started
smartly and quickly. Also, because interest is so very high in entrepreneurship
right now, we're able to fill our events for less effort and that also
allows us to offer such a low price with extremely high value without
taking shortcuts. Make sense?
We also teach you how you must offer an incredible value and how to
differentiate yourself from other options your prospects have in order
to succeed. Therefore, we practice what we preach. We know if we make
registering and attending our Boot Camps a total no-brainer, where
the value is many many times that of what we charge, and that we don't
cut corners in the process, and do it all in a no-risk way to our customers,
then we will thrive even in this economic environment. When your customer
has everything to gain and nothing to lose, it would be a big mistake
to do anything but become your customer. So there you have it. We are
completely focused on helping you not only launch your idea but maximize
your success and to do it very quickly and super inexpensively.
Lastly, in case you were wondering, unlike other low investment seminars, we do not have some "next level" high-cost event to sell you into. This is THE EVENT. We don't hold back information in order to get you to buy another workshop. We designed this course to give you the tools you need in 2.5 days, all content, no fluff.

Q: Is The Startup Business Boot Camp
Workshop Available In My Area?
A: We currently hold events in a number of US cities and are rapidly
expanding. We've had people who didn't have any local events fly from
half-way across the country to attend our workshops. They recognized
the time savings, knowledge and value are well worth it even if they
have to travel.
But if we aren't in your city yet and you cannot travel for some reason, be sure to sign up for our email list so we can notify you when we schedule local events.
Q: It Says The Event is Still
A Few Days Away But I Can't Register, Why?
A: Registration for most events closes a few days prior to the event.
We also do not accept registrations at the door. This is because we
need time to print attendee manuals, order the appropriate amount of
food, and other considerations. However, you can always call your Instructor
to see if a spot opened up or you can join the Wait List. Because there's
zero risk to registering early, most people don't take a chance on
being shut out and register several weeks to 8 weeks in advance as
80% of our events do fill up in advance.
Q: Can't I Just Take a Business Class To Learn What's In Your Event?
A: Not really. Watching and doing are two different things. In our
event you'll not only learn, but DO. In just 1 weekend you'll have
many of the elements needed to start a business DONE. Period. You learn,
then do, then learn, then do, hour by hour and step by step, over the
course of the weekend.
Secondly, a business class can take many weeks or months to finish
and they'll teach you many things you don't need to know. We focus
on real-world, proven approaches that we use every day in our entrepreneurial
endeavors. It's not academic. This focused and practical approach saves
you time and money.
Lastly, the investment in our event is competitive if not much less than what
you'd pay for seminars that last only a day or less.
However, we don't feel we compete in any way with schools offering
business classes. In fact, because you can never learn too much, we
encourage people to avail themselves of all resources to assist in
launching and growing their new venture.

Q: What Types of Ideas Do
People Bring To The Startup Business Boot Camp?
A: You name it! From patentable products to simple services and everything
in between. From offline to online to a combination. The ideas we see
are as varied as the people who bring them.
Q: Are There Any Out of Pocket Costs During The Boot Camp?
A: Most of the tools we utilize and exercises done at the event have
zero added cost. For example, the Web site tool is free and your site
will be live that weekend at no cost and no future fees either (unless
you want extra some of the added features but for most they really
aren't needed).
Some attendees do not have any out of pocket expenses. Additional
costs would be only if you choose to incorporate or use certain other
services that have hard costs associated. We do not charge anything
extra for those. For example, if you want to get incorporated at the
event, you'll pay the State you choose to incorporate in their standard
filing fee. If you want to buy a domain name, you'll pay GoDaddy their
$10. If you want to create a Google AdWords campaign, you'll pay Google
$5 for their setup fee. We take you through the process of these things
step by step, explaining what you need to know, ensuring you avoid
the pitfalls and that you do not have to pay expensive attorneys, CPAs
or others to do these things.
Most of our Camps include lunch and snacks, some do not. If lunch
isn't included then if you want to eat you'd pay for lunch during the
break. Our event locations are usually held in areas with numerous
restaurant choices nearby.
But overall, there's no out of pocket costs you must pay
for. You will not get any nasty surprises at our events. Some people
choose to do all the startup exercises to the point they understand
and know how to do them so they can incorporate or do the other things
anytime into the future and of course, they'd pay the same costs on
their own at home as they would at the event since it's all direct
with the State or whoever. Bottom line is what you see is what you
get. Our mission is to help you get going quickly and inexpensively
with not hidden agendas.

Q: Do I Need To Have Gone To College To Attend?
A: No, many of America's most successful entrepreneurs never completed
high school or did not go to college. Our process breaks down the complexities
of starting your business to make it fast and simple whether you went
to college or not.

Q: I've Never Seen Anywhere Else Where I Can Do So Much In One Place,
Why?
A: There are several reasons for this, one is that only now are the
tools, technology and resources available that enable people to launch
concepts so quickly. Another reason is OUR SYSTEM. We've created a
step by step system that includes templates that build upon one another
combined with instruction and information as well as live demonstrations
and brainstorming sessions that make this so much more than simply
how to start a business. It's how to turn a small idea into a big one.
It's how to market creatively and for zero or low dollars. It's a repeatable
process giving you the knowledge, skills and tools to rapidly test,
prototype, launch and market most any business idea for little or no
money. It's truly unique and very powerful. We of course feel it's
a must attend for anyone who ever comes up with new ideas and wonders
WHAT IF?
Q: What If I Don't Have An Idea Yet or Change Ideas During The Event?
A: On Friday night, we talk about business concepts and how to determine
their viability. In other words, will your ideas make money, will an
idea make ENOUGH money, will the startup costs be too high for your
budget, does it fit with your lifestyle, does it have a promising future,
how will you market it, etc.
This event works best when YOU BRING YOUR UNIQUE IDEAS to investigate
and/or develop because we provide you with the knowledge and tools
to rapidly prototype most any business concept. We do not have canned
business ideas to sell you. But we do provide a free list of business
concepts you can choose to develop during the event either for practice
or even as a real business if you like them. These are just interesting
businesses we've seen in operation or ideas we've thought about that
we have no problem sharing with our attendees.
On Saturday and Sunday, we focus a lot on actual execution. If you
don't have a set idea, you can use the weekend as a trial-run on creating
the business plan and all the other elements of a company such as drafting
up an incorporation filing, creating an initial Web site, drafting
up a press release, etc. etc. including talking one-on-one with professionals
in corporate and intellectual property law, accounting, PR, etc..
So even without a definitive, set idea, you will get the critical knowledge, tools AND VITAL EXPERIENCE to go from Idea to actual operation in as little as one weekend
so when you do decide on one or more business concepts, you can use
your Startup Business Boot Camp experience to move forward quickly and with minimal
expense for outside assistance since YOU will know what to do!

Q: Do I Need to be Computer
Literate or Need a Laptop to Attend?
A: This is a two-pronged question, so we'll answer each below:
* Computer Literacy - It's preferable, as most everyone uses a computer at the
event, but nearly all exercises can be done on paper without a computer if necessary/desired.
Certain items, like domain name registration can be executed for you by a member
of our staff either during or even after the event.
* Need for a Laptop - For most venues where we hold events, attendees use laptops
they bring with them (whether their own or borrowed from a friend). If you do
not have a laptop, we can rent one for you. The cost to do so is passed on to
you, and varies depending on venue location from $0 if the venue has computers
there, or ranges from $50 to $200 or so, in total, for the entire event. The
actual cost is shown during the registration process on the second (last) page
or you can email your Boot Camp Instructor. You can also rent a laptop computer
on your own if you find a better price. And, as already mentioned, you can opt
to not use a computer at all, but less than 5% of attendees choose that option.

Q: Do I Need a Lot of Money to Launch a Business?
A: Some of the world's biggest businesses were started with a few
hundred dollars. Grander plans may require more money. It all depends
on the type of business you want to launch. Service businesses are
usually the least expensive, followed by retail and manufacturing.
However, what we teach you is how to TEST your ideas for little to
no money FIRST, then evaluate the result. This "look before you
leap" approach minimizes your risk. In this economic environment
no one can afford to make costly mistakes!
Q: I See You Have A Bunch of Video Testimonials. Are They Actual Attendees?
A: Of course they are. Each person you see attended one of our events.
And let's face it, most people aren't jumping up and down to give testimonials
in front of a camera like that. It's a bit nerve wracking to be sure.
But they did it. They did it because they felt it was so very important
to share their experiences of what they got out of the Startup Business
Boot Camp so someone like you who might be a bit on the fence about
attending hears their experience and takes action. No one was paid,
they simply didn't want someone like you to miss out on all the event
has to offer. Many of them were hesitant themselves before registering.
THAT'S WHY THEY DID THE TESTIMONIAL! They know you are like them, wondering if this
is the right way to go. And we thank them for being selfless in sharing
their feedback and we believe you will feel the same way after you've
attended. But of course you don't have to be on video to share your
experiences. A simple written testimonial will do just fine. :-)

Q: I Noticed Some Cities Offer Your Events at Different Prices, Why?
A: Our Instructors set the price for each
of their events individually. One instructor may include added bonuses,
consulting, etc. and therefore the price may be higher than another
city's event. Additionally, local market conditions may also factor
into the price as costs to host an event may differ from market to
market. Typically however, the vast majority of our events across
all cities have roughly the same price point or the difference
is minimal.
